This ecological building is made of sunflower, salt, and recycled urine

Where others see waste, they see opportunities! We take you to a place where it is possible to witness the end of one outdated architectural era and the optimistic beginning of another. In the former railway maintenance workshop in the city of Arles in southern France, today, you can see various sustainable products designed for construction, made from natural by-products of the local sunflower industry, as well as antibacterial doorknobs made from salt collected from the salt marshes of the Camargue region.
